While most agree that racing four Top Fuel dragsters or Funny Cars at the same time down Smith's state-of-the-art zMax Dragway is a revolutionary step forward for the 59-year-old sanctioning body, there is simply too many variables that need to be addressed before an official national event is run under this format. Nevertheless, Compton and Smith recently announced it was going to happen March 26-28, although they were vague on how it would actually go down.
